At Legacy pediatrics, we provide comprehensive medical care from birth through young adulthood. We have experienced nurses and providers who treat a full range of medical issues, whether chronic, or acute as well as having subspecialty expertise in hematology, outpatient infectious diseases, newborn care, development pediatrics, lactation and mental health. Our practice is small, and we strive to stay that way so we can provide individualized care to our patients.
Monday – Friday: 8am-5pm with walk-in hour from 8am-9am
Urgent Care appointments are available each day for same day sick visits
*July and August we have shortened afternoon hours on Fridays
Saturday: 9am-10am urgent care for sick visits only
*this is from November-May, during the illness season
We are available 24 hrs a day and we can be easily reached by calling our office number after hours. In addition to a physician or PA on call, we utilize a nurse triage system that follows national guidelines for pediatric urgent complaints. The nurses always have the ability of getting ahold of the on call physician or PA.
Legacy Pediatrics uses evidence-based medicine to guide our treatment of our patients. This is important when discussing vaccines. We vaccinate all our patients on time and per the CDC and ACIP guidelines. We do not accept patients who refuse to vaccinate or would like to do alternative schedules.
