An Important Announcement on Dr. Janet Casey

A smiling healthcare professional in a white coat and red stethoscope holds a newborn baby wrapped in a pink blanket while sitting in a medical office. A photo hangs on the wall in the background.

After nearly 40 years of dedicated service to children and families in our community, Dr. Janet Casey will be retiring from clinical practice at the end of June. While this marks a significant milestone, we want to assure you that Legacy Pediatrics — the practice she founded 19 years ago — remains in excellent hands, with Dr. Casey continuing as owner and an active presence in the practice.

A Message of Gratitude

Dr. Casey has cherished being a part of your family’s lives and is deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in her care over the years. From welcoming newborns to watching children grow, her dedication to this community has been the heart of Legacy Pediatrics. Though she is looking forward to a well-deserved next chapter, she will remain involved in running the practice and will likely still be seen around the office.

Continuity of Care You Can Count On

Many of our families are already familiar with the exceptional team that will continue providing the same thoughtful, high-quality care you have come to expect. Dr. Bandari and Dr. Silverstein are both talented physicians deeply committed to your children’s health, and our PA Kate Shand continues her vital role in the practice, bringing years of experience and compassion to every visit.

If you would like to designate Dr. Bandari or Dr. Silverstein as your child’s primary pediatrician going forward, please don’t hesitate to let our office know — we are committed to honoring your preferences.

Thank You

Dr. Casey’s last day seeing patients will be June 30th. On behalf of the entire Legacy Pediatrics team, thank you for the privilege of being part of your healthcare journey. We look forward to continuing to serve your family for many years to come.

With sincere gratitude, The Legacy Pediatrics Team
